The dreaded PIP renewal, help with a question please.

We are just filling in the PIP review form.
I have a query about question 12 (Moving around).
My husband uses crutches permanently indoors and out as he cannot weight bear and is in constant pain.
Over the last few months it has become impossible to get him out of the house as he is struggling more and more to walk so we have bought a wheelchair so he can manage when he has hospital appointments or wants to accompany me somewhere.
Now filling in the form we can honestly say that he can stand and move no more than 20 mtrs without being in a lot of pain and having to do it very slowly.
But my question is- Because we have bought a wheelchair are they likely to say that he is not entitled to any points now because he can use the chair to get around?
Can anyone advise please. Thank you.

The descriptor says 'stand and then move'. A wheelchair doesn't count for PIP

Thank you for the reply. Do you don't get penalised because you use one then. Thank you.0 -
You're welcome
To back this up with a source:“Stand and then move” requires an individual to stand and then move independently while remaining standing. It does not include a claimant who stands and then transfers into a wheelchair or similar device. Individuals who require a wheelchair or similar device to move a distance should not be considered able to stand and move that distance.
Taken from the official guidance for assessors https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteria0 -

What makes you think that? Moving around descriptors a,b,c,d and e are about standing and putting one foot on the floor. As he can do this then this is what he'll be assessed on and not the wheelchair.
For those that can't do this, it's descriptor F.0
