Cheapest possible Eurotunnel booking?

I'm trying to work out the cheapest possible Eurotunnel booking you can make. My current is £46 for a day trip return in April. Any advances!?
I don't need to travel on it, so doesn't matter what it is. In order to purchase Eurotunnel travel insurance now, you have to have a booking. They've said the insurance policy is totally independent of this booking, so I don't think you actually need to use it.

Motorcycle £22 day trip return.
Though I'm wondering if the cheapest booking is a subsequently cancelled one.0 -
Im confused. If you already have a booking, why do you need to book another to get the insurance?0

I don't yet have the booking, just looking for it. By 'my current', I mean my current best find.0 -
But why are you looking if you don’t intend to travel?Save £12k in 2019 #360

will the insurance not be for the same dates as the trip you book? So if you book a day trip in April the insurance with cover that date
You are given the option to insure the trip you are booking0 -

This is for other insurance options than a single trip covering the booking. For me, family annual insurance.0 -

Why do you need insurance if your not going? The cheapest option would be not to get either.0

I think every response so far has questioned the original question! I was trying to avoid complicating it with things not really relevant to the question or forum I've put this on (overseas holidays/travel planning), i.e. insurance selecting.
After discovering they've had a small change in the criteria for purchasing their insurance (having a booking), I don't have 3 days to spend finding a suitable other company who will take on out-of-the-box pre-existing medical conditions without a protracted assessment process, or charging a large amount of money because they don't try and understand the risk. Eurotunnel's is very sensible (per several posts on the insurance forums), so works well for certain groups of people, at a reasonable price for the lack of hassle involved.bradders1983 wrote: »But why do you want that particular policy?
I want the insurance for other trips overseas, where I am travelling by other means. Why do you need insurance if your not going? The cheapest option would be not to get either.0
