Insurance Brokers

I have just renewed my house insurance through a broker with NIG. I'm not really very happy with the broker as they are always trying to sell me extras I don't want. My question is - Is it possible to renew the same policy next year through a different broker?

Yes.
Your new broker will ask you to sign an authority note that will give it permission to approach the insurers and take over your account. All renewal notices etc will then pass to the new broker.0 -
NIG house insurance is available through any IFA and they are very competitive at the moment. It isnt just brokers you can re-register it through but also your IFA (if you have one).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
