Gooutdoors ๐‘๐ž๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ง๐.

Hi all!

Currently having problems getting a refund from go outdoors for ยฃ261.

I purchased a jacket back in may and within a few weeks it developed faults so I took it to my nearest store to be be told there was nothing wrong with the jacket so I sent it back to mountain equipment and they tested it.

I got a phone call apologising from mountain equipment saying the jacket was faulty so they offered me a similar jacket or a refund direct from gooutdoors, I asked for the refund and was told it would be passed on to gooutdoors.

That was July, the lady who was helping me at mountain equipment showed me the emails to gooutdoors saying they would refund my jacket. Fast forward now to September, I still havenโ€™t had my refund, I messaged mountain equipment on the 22nd of August and I got a reply showing the refund being asked for and it would be chased up. It is now September I still havenโ€™t had my money back.

The lady at mountain equipment has been very helpful but she can only do so much. She even showed me the credit that gooutdoors received for my jacket being faulty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • If you have the email address of the person/dept that she is emailing have you emailed them yourself
  • I did think of that but thought that would be a little bit naughty emailing someone who I never had any contact with in the first place. Might give it a go tho.

    Thanks for the reply!

That way you're not repeating the story every time .....you don't have to rude - I find you catch more flies with honey than vinegar!
