Ok thanks. I will get her set up if not already, and file the AoS through the online way.

    How does the SAR look?

    Yes, do that.

Full instructions on how the Defendant should do the AoS were given to you in post #10 above.

I thought I had seen recent posts where it was advised to wait five days after issue date to make sure to get full period before defence submission!
And at the time I wrote post #10, and anticipated that the OP would read it, five days have passed. ;)

I’ve got the email address for the DPO at TPS, is there anything anyone would recommend adding/changing before doing so? It’s a pretty generic email, there’s nothing I can think of to specifically add that seems specific to my case, but thought I’d ask.

    Cheers

    Update:

I have completed the AoS online as per the steps in the Dropbox file in the newbies thread - very helpful.

I have sent my SAR into the DPO email address on the TPS website.

I will be spending the next week or so reading through as many similar threads as I can and will draft a defence and post it on here, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Should give me a couple of weeks to polish the defence up.

Thanks for all your help up to this point.

    Hi.

So we have received a reply from TPS regarding the SAR. They have provided a copy of an email that we sent to them back in April of this year, stating that we believed it to be an unfairly issued fine (explaining the details with the app payment). They have also provided some very, VERY, dark pictures of the car parked. Two pictures that are 56 minutes apart, there are separate pictures zoomed in of the number plate, but the pictures of the entire car itself are not clear, very dark, number plate not visible, and in all fairness it’s not discernible where the car is parked at all, no visible parking space lines or anything.

All things I want to mention, as feedback on this information from you regarding what might be worth structuring into a defence, would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again.

Sounds like everything you said needs to be added to your defence - stuff about the app and stuff about the pitch black site and the fact no parking charge 'penalty' could be read (tariffs yes...penalty, no).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Thanks, Coupon-Mad.

I will spend sometime now looking through other defences and pen something together and then post it here, probably in a week or two.

    Thanks again
