Waltham forest- PCN 01 parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours

Hi all,
So I received a letter a couple of months back with regards to the PCN code and description: 01 parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours. This was on a single yellow line on a Sunday at around 7pm. (Quite ridiculous if you as me). There were no signs indicating that this was the case and I followed this thread and wrote an appeal following the template provided by @Thebogsdollocks.
Theyve written back to me saying that the contravention occured and that the PCN was issued correctly. They feel "satisfied" that that I remain liable for the charge
If i dont pay within 14 days then an NtO will be send out and then I can make a formal representation after this stage.
Not sure if I can fight this since it is the council, but having read other forums its giving me hope that I may be able to do something against this?
Thanks all for reading and helping in advance

We specialise fighting unfair private parking charges here on MSE, so you would be better taking this over to our friends on pepipoo.com.
You will need to register on pepipoo with a non-Hotmail email address before reading the FAQs and then posting both sides of your redacted PCN with your query.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
