Central heating not working hot water Ok

Hi,
Just after some general advice... Google hasn't been much help this time...
I have a Potterton HE plus range boiler, central heating isn't working . Boiler was last serviced 4 th June and haven't had to turn the heating on since then.
Turned the thermostat up on Thursday only to realise all radiators were cold.
I've done the usual, bleed the radiators , restart the boiler, pressure is ok too.
Just wondering could something have been switched off inside the boiler in error during the service?
Other "google" results indicate an issue with the diverter valve, but thought this would have been picked up during the service.
When I up the temperature on the boiler for the radiators the pilot light led comes on but off after about 15 seconds...
My plumber is currently on holiday hence Googling....TIA

Could well be the diverter valve. When they are not used they can get stuck. Is it a combi? I've got a promax 28he plus and the diverter is obvious if you take the front off, you'd be able to see if it moves. Could be the valve, could be the motor... Could be something else. Someone will come along saying not to take off the front due to gas safe etc but on my boiler that does not open the combustion chamber and so is quite low risk!0

If you have the instruction manual check that the timer for the radiators hasn't been turned off inadvertently. My combi has all manner of settings available including one that isolates the radiators.0

Diverter valve, or possibly sticking pump if it's not been used for 3 months over the summer. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
