Hi
My 2010 macbook has packed up so considering the below 2019 13inch macbook pro. I use it mainly for storing pictures and browsing, i cant decide if the 2.4ghz is worth the less storage (512gb) or go for 1.4ghz with 1tb ssd? I have a 2k budget
The 2.4ghz has extra fans/ports but unsure if that is worth less ssd?
1.4ghz 1tb

2.4ghz 512gb ssd

Or any other combo? I store pictures so the extra storage would be handy but can always use external drives
Thanks

Or is a 1tb air better value?

Ok i have narrowed it to:

Is 2 worth the extra £500?0 -
Number 2 is far more powerful and not much bigger, possibly with a better screen. If you're going to do anything taxing, it's worth it. You pay a big premium for the portability of the air, whilst at the same time, other laptops have shrunk near to its size.
Since this is MSE, I will recommend the Apple Refurb Store. And I've bought my last couple of MacBook Pros, carefully, from eBay.0 -
The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is easily one of the fastest laptops ever of its size. Our configuration packs a quad-core 8th-gen Intel Core i5 processor running at 2.4-GHz, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD0

My 13 inch MacBook Pro with 4 Thunderbolts has had two out of the three recalls for out of warranty fixes. It would be three out of three but the keyboard replacement (sticky keys) also covered the battery. The other recall was the screen going black when you tilted it past 30% (the cable is too short). Apart from that I am liking it (well 2/3 of it is brand new)0
