It’s governments that have fallen out with China and Huawei. Google are restricted on what they can supply to Chinese companies by the US government.
Surprisingly many UK government agencies use Lenovo laptops, another Chinese manufacturer. At one time Lenovo had the Superfish spyware and a very suspect BIOS installed.
