Spotify =====> Alexa issue

Hi all


Unable to play music from my spotify account via Alexa.


Have a choice of playing via my phone or Alexa , if i choose Alexa, it just says " CONNECTING! but dosnt connect.


It has been working fine until now, have checked all the obvious stuff,

and restarted Alexa etc, so im stumped now..


Any ideas pls ?

I had a problem with playing Spotify through my Echo Plus after a big Spotify update and I had to log back into the Alexa app on my phone to reset the connection.

Just to update - seems i was wrong in trying to fix it via Alexa App.


Tried uninstalling Spotify then installing again, and music working via Alexa again :-)


Spotify kept all my albums/ playlists intact, but they were no longer downloaded, luckily i dont have shed-loads of albums , so downloaded them again while listening.
