Hi all, i’m Looking for some advice please. I have just received a letter out of the blue from Barclaycard offering me £75 as a gesture of goodwill. It is apparently because they took payments automatically out of my bank account without considering my hardship considerations.
Sounds a bit fishy to me, when does a bank / credit card ever offer free money unless there’s something in it. I don’t want to just accept in case there’s something more to it and then I can’t make a future claim. Can anybody advise me please? Thanks in advance

That sounds reasonable. Banks go back and make adjustments where they believe they have failed under TCF.
Enjoy the refund.0
