If it was a MK1 Ford Escort you might find a buyer.0 -

I think the problem is you are advertising it as a Vauxhall Escort, if you advertised it correctly you might find a buyer.

That's nothing like mine. Mine is last generation, 1.2L, beaten up, an ok shopping car. Please buy it. Nobody wants it, and I'm asking only a hundred grand. Tart it up a bit. It will help your chances of selling it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Not really a fair comparison. Even with say a 10% difference (I also refuse to accept your 25% theory or whatever it was), it might be like listing an £8k car for £8,800k to test the market - and would probably be happy driving round in it until it sold for somewhere in that ballpark. That's all they're doing with that house sale.
Don't you want to buy my car? Nobody wants to buy my car!
However, happily, I do own a car that I would like to sell, even though nobody wants to buy it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

No don't sell it.
Old Fords almost always appreciate in value.
Had this old banger for 18 years now. It is currently worth many, many, many times more that we paid for it. Only a fool gets rid of old Fords
It is not a house though and you would struggle to live in it.0 -

Ok, it sounds like they are always extremely saleable, even though oddly nobody wants to buy mine. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
