IRS adjusted my balance on my 1040 amendment, but did not refund the FICA taxes that I paid (

Long story short, I am an international student, and I wrongly filled 1040A instead of 1040NR, accidentally claimed some of the education credits which I am not supposed to get from 2017. So, I did fill 1040X a couple of months ago to request IRS to adjust my tax balance ( so I owe IRS the balance of $3063). Also, I did include form 843 to request for the FICA taxes refund from the same 2017 (amount of $3143.94 and $735.28 - Social Security and Medicare Taxes respectively).
Today, I got the letter (notice CP22A) from IRS saying that I owe them 3063 which is true and they ask me to pay 3063 + plus 2-year interest. However, I havent got any notice or refund on form 843 and I was wondering if IRS going to mail the check to me separately for this refund request?
