Listing of stay

Hi all,

I have been trying to reclaim my charges for the last six months and ended up going to the courts at the end of july. The notice was served to the bank before the 14th August deadline for the OFT stay but my case has been put on hold anyway. I had the case transferred to a local court to apply for the stay to be lifted but my application was rejected.

Two questions;

1 Can I go any further to get the stay lifted once an aplication has been rejected?

2 Can I claim back my account fees that the stay has caused me to incur in the time since? - I was going to close my account once I received my money back prior to the stay.

Any help would be appreciated...

Attempts to get stays removed have been successful but only in very small numbers. Once it has been rejected, thats pretty much it I'm afraid.

Any new "fees" (penalty charges) can be reclaimed as usual. A couple of people have been successful in getting a court to order that the bankers do not apply any further charges whilst the test case is going on. However, this is a bit late for you so you will have to either start a new claim for new charges or make the necessary changes to your existing clai which will cost you money.
