Asda Click & Collect

Asda only using bags for meat when doing click and collect. Didn't realise this. Ordered nearly £200 worth of shopping...

Did you opt out of bags?

if you were charged 40p, and didnt get any bags, then I would mention something.

3.12 Single-Use Carrier Bags
3.12.1 If You choose to Collect from one of our Click and Collect lockers We will fulfil Your order with carrier bags unless you tell us not to when you check out. A compulsory charge of 40p will be added to Your order to cover the charge of the bags used for Your groceries.

There isn't an option got bags anymore with either asda or tesco.

Tesco don’t provide bags for home delivery anymore either.

We have Asda deliver to us and used to have the bags before they stopped supplying them.

Now we just bring the crates in and unload them in the kitchen (there's usually 2-3 of us doing it).

Just remember to take something with you, such as trolley bags.

That's the bit I missed. It was quite funny loading it all into the car and unloading it into the kitchen. It's slightly ironic that forever and a day they have been putting 1 or 2 things into a carrier bag and now they're putting nothing.

Morrison's tried to charge me for 3 carrier bags for the 3 x 15kg bags of dog food I ordered. I was tempted to request they show me how they were planning to fit them into the bags.
