well that was quick! blink and you miss it! was that 1.5% easy access offering from cynergy really only available for one day only to new customers? (yesterday 4/9/19 to be precise)

It is not that new I opened mine in the middle of July 2019 at that rate.
Underlying rate 0.75 %
Bonus rate 0.75 %
Overall rate 1.50 %

No, it was available many weeks before it appeared on the MSE site. I opened it on 31 August.0

IIRC, they were running the 1.5% for several and months and then stopped accepting new customers on that rate a few weeks ago.
I managed to move to 1.5% when my 1.56% rate ended in mid-August, being an existing customer.
It looks like they very briefly opened it again to new customers, matching Marcus, and then when Marcus dropped their rate withdrew it again.0
