Mobile bill reduction

Hi I'm new here so be gentle, I'm trying to get my finances in order especially is just around the corner.

I'm currently paying £28 a month for my Tesco mobile bill and want to look at reducing this if possible

I used to pay £12.75 per month but as I changed my phone that has increased to £28

£9.00 usage contract
5000 mins
5000 texts

If anyone has any idea as to cheaper tariffs etc please let me know

Phil

You didn't mention data, Can you check out how much you use?
  • I get 500mb data, I've just found out I can't leave yet as I still have six months so would have to pay an early termination fee of £262

Then see out your remaining minimum term and then switch to a SIM-only contract. From about £7.50 on TM.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

If you have paid off your phone. (i.e purchased it 18/24 months ago)
you could go to "sim only"
Where by you pay around £10/month for calls/txt/data

6 months at £28 is £168, not £282, so I would check the figures again.
Cheapest TM SIM only deal is £7.50 for 2GB data, 500 mins. Do you actually use your current 5,000 mins?
