Thank you all for the responses I wil have a look on the house and see if it works for me before I have the talk, but I will try renegotiate as it means that road house prices will certainly drop any what thank you

    Exactly, you need to re-negotiate.

All same road very different prices and and decoration wise very different as well , i will put a new toilet and decorate the rooms new floor and paint etc , kitchen will do in a year or so.

Rightmove links in the quote above.

Well from the photos it's not like one's a bomb and the other a palace (but you never know what might be lurking unless you look) but the 160 one clearly does need much more work. I think it would have less interest. One thing I notice is that yours will get more sun at the back of the house, but that's probably not something you'd obsess about as much as me.

The last recorded sale for the road on the land registry is No 11 for £162k in June 2014. Pop that into the Nationwide calculator and it says that would be £194 today. It perhaps makes the 160 look a little too low.

The next door house is presumably a landlord selling given the state of the place.

It is the sold prices that matter not the asking prices.

The OP is buying a rental with a tenant needing eviction.

If the next door is vacant it may be a more predictable buy.

Ye with best case scenario leaving on 5th november with my mortgage after ending on 3th november may have to extend the offer but the mortgage advisor said might need payslips again and we all known what that means might reduce the maximum i can borrow wich is 194000 , well wait and see.

There is a car parked in front of the garage blocking the parking space for the house next door.

I don't see anything to justify the 40K difference, as long as you own the solar.
