PCN with wrong address

Hi apologies if this has been posted before but I'm in a bit of a rush!
I received a PCN last year which was dated on the 20th Sept 2018. The address it had on it was wrong, only a minor mistake but it was still redirected from the other address to me (from memory it was quite a bit after the letter date). Admittedly I ignored it on this technicality and thought I could probably get away with it. I moved from that address in febuary 2019 in which time I didn't get another letter from them.
I returned from holiday on the 3rd Sept 2019 and was greeted (like a slap in the face) with a 'letter before claim ' from Gladstone Solicitors at my new address, with this letter was a previous one they supposedly sent on the 19th July 2019 to the old address.
My question is. Do I respond to Gladstone Solicitors stating that the wrong address was put on the previous letters and I didn't receive anything? Also they've given me until the 3rd Sept to respond and it's now the 4th

Sound like you didn’t update your address with the DVLA?0

No all was correct with DVLA. CPM and Gladstone have/had the wrong address which was going up the road instead, correct postcode but wrong road enough to fool the postie0
