Hi,
Looking for some help regarding a motoring offence letter I have just received. I have read the newbie thread, however, I wanted to check if my circumstances are a bit different and what I should put in my first letter - to make sure I get it right.
I had a lease car and was dealing with the return of the vehicle. They notified me of a parking charge and I today received a letter that was an invoice for a motoring offence. They have charged me £10 for the administration of this.
I have not received a copy of the parking ticket letter, only some written details on the lease finance company's letter which states:
Registration Number: XXX
Vehicle Description: XXX
Motoring Offences / Fines
Issued by: Pcn Admin Centre
Address: Bacchus House 1 Station Road Addlestone Surrey KT15 2AG
(ALL APPEALS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING TO THE ABOVE ADDRESS)
Location: XXX
Date/Time: 7 Aug 2019 17:00
Driver: Not Assigned
Ref No: XXX
This letter was dated 25 Aug 2019 and states that motoring offences are dealt with within 3 working days of being received.
The car park is one I use regularly, you drive in, park up and call a number. You select the length of stay and then reply to a text with the registration number of the car.
For the date in question I have checked my text messages and can see I submitted the vehicle registration number. I have checked my bank and have been debited £3 (which is a 24 hour stay).
I have no letter from the company and no explanation as to why I have received this parking notice. I called up the company and spoke to someone about the parking charge and they gave me an email address to appeal. I also think I may have disclosed my full name on that call (before reading this forum).
The lease car that got the offence I returned to the lease company 2 days after the date on which I got the parking ticket. I assume this has now been sold at auction.
I have checked the company's website (enterpriseparking) and the reference number I have is not valid.
What should be my next step? Should I write to the appeals team with my evidence of the text and bank statement showing payment? Or should I ask for copies of the original letter as I have not received it?
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks

Which parking company ??
Read the Edna basher advice posted at the bottom of post 1 of the Newbies thread for lease vehicles , reading the links too
No offence has been committed , neither is it a fine
Edit
If it's Enterprise Parking Solutions , EPS , then they are BPA AOS members so follow the BPA member advice , plus Edna bashers advice0
