Integrated oven above washing machine??

Hi, looking for advice on whether I can place a freestanding washing machine under a built-in oven??
I’ve a tiny galley kitchen and I can only use one wall due to the width being 6’6 wide😒.
I can’t seem to find a definite yes it’s possible after searching online (or vice versa) - I’ve previously had a chat with a kitchen designer who had told me it’s not possible and dismissed my idea, but I’m still hopeful and think it can be done 🤔.
I hoping someone has had this done this and had no issues, thanks in advance!

The installation instructions for most washing machines and built-in ovens will probably include detail about clearances, where they can be located, etc. Have a look at the installation manuals for your appliances and if you haven't bought them yet, some examples from models online.0

There's certainly no reason it can't be done. I've done with with both freestanding and integrated dishwashers, so you could do it with a washing machine too!
The only problem you'll encounter is that there isn't a housing for this configuration, so you'll either need a kitchen company who can manufacture ones for you, or a really good fitter to make it work by !!!!!!!ising a standard oven housing. If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Thanks for replies; tbh even if I placed a dishwasher under instead and have a washer at the side, it would still give me much the added space I want and need! 😊👍0

I'd put the washing machine under the oven rather than the dishwasher (if either is permitted). Dishwashers emit a lot of steam when opened after some cycles and you don't want that condensing in and around the oven above.Novicemumof3 wrote: »Thanks for replies; tbh even if I placed a dishwasher under instead and have a washer at the side, it would still give me much the added space I want and need! 😊👍0
