Advice needed about PPS

A couple of months ago i entered a carpark which is owned by pps, where you have to enter your reg details...
I did this.. however i entered my reg incorrect, i entered the first 4 digits wrong but the last 3 letters correct, don't ask, it was early and i wasn't thinking straight i also hadn't had the car long so i entered in the first 4 digits of my previous car.
I kept the parking ticket, which cost £4 all day.
I decided to appeal this myself through 'theias' website, and i had a decision today from the adjudicator saying by law i have to pay the £100 fine now, all because i entered my reg plate incorrect!!
I'm really not happy with this, is there anything else i can do to avoid having to pay for it?
Is there still a company that advertise on this forum where you can pay them to fight it and it gets cleared for around £20 from what i remember? If so whats their website again and will i still be eligible to go through them?

No there is no company on this site that offers that service, and no we don't recommend anyone to even use one, long story!
Had you come here first you would know that appealing to the IAS is futile and we don't recommend that either.
Their statement that "by law i have to pay the £100 fine now" is notcorrect and be honest, the reply never mentioned a "fine" did it?
It's your call really you can pay a scammer, or you can sit it out and see if they try a punt in court in the future, that is a gambol though some judges will consider paying the charge and your proof OK and throw it out, some will go down the strict contract route, who knows.

MUI that such companies rarely deliver on their promises,

Did you, is that what he/she said? Did they use the words "by law" and "Fine". If so they would appear to have committed an offence. PoPlA decisions are not legally binding.
Many judges consider these wrong VRN claims as trifing,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_minimis, a waste of court time.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking CompaniesYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

That was the company ive used a few times in the past...
Are you suggesting i just ignore it now and not pay it? If so can they add on extra charges and get bailiffs involved?0 -
Why is the ias futile and why don't you recommend it? This is their response ...
