RBS Select switch query

I am looking to switch one of my Tesco accounts to RBS Select to get the £150 switch offer. On the T&C's it says request a switch, pay in £1500 and complete your switch and log in to online banking to receive your reward.

My query is, if my Tesco account has over £1500 when it switches does that cover the pay in £1500 condition or do I need to pay in another £1500?

Any ideas?

Your question has been asked numerous times. My answer would be that in the absence of any clear guidance in the T&C's, and because you clearly have £1500 at your disposal, why would you not make another £1500 deposit to be sure?

We did the last transfer and transferred an account with £1500 in it. That was confirmed in the branch that it was accepted as the £1500 deposit.

We got our bonus payment on 31st
