Parking Eye fine for 10m 19s - What to do now?

Hello
My wife ran into the hospital recently and was snapped by Parking Eye at 10m 19s
I understand the hospital has a ten minute grace but we don't want to appeal to Popla or Parking Eye as in my experience they are very ruthless.
The Hospital won't cancel the ticket (which I know they can do) as its within their ten minute period
What's the best approach? Ignore and wait or actually speak to Parking Eye (which I dont really want to)
Thanks for your help

first task is to complain to PALS and insist on a cancellation , no excuses
next task is to download the BPA CoP and read clause #13, because 2 grace periods apply , one before parking and one after
in your case its say 5 minutes to park , read the signs and comply , and say 6 minutes to exit the car park after the parking period
5 + 6 = 11 minutes , so PE are shafting you
it could even be 1 + 10 , or 2 + 9 , or 3 + 8
there is also a section on a grace period where its only a short visit , read the signs and depart, (but departure is usually delayed on busy car parks - hint)
the blue text appeal from the newbies thread near the top of this forum is used on the PE website , choosing KEEPER , no changes
then its appeal to popla where grace periods necomes the first few points of appeal , plus no landowner authority plus poor signage
ignore this advice at your peril, because PE will issue a court case within 6 years
IGNORE is very foolish for england and wales incidents
speaking to PE is also very foolish , regardless0 -
For a reason only known to parking eye, they are ignoring the BPA code of practice and grace periods

What experience do you have, POPLA is just an appeal system, it costs nothing and you will probably win
Parking Eye do push their luck and it is clear that the BPA should retrain them to obey the BPA code of practice.
The secret is that this forum is more ruthless and we don't put up with the rubbish of Parking Eye, they after all simple scammers0 -
Thanks, will ring PALS tomorrow. What a carry on. What a set of b*****s they are! Cheers0

Yes of course they are, but just like all the other parking companies, the only way to make money is to scam people.
Parking Eye are famous for targeting NHS staff and cancer patients etc .......The directors of Parking Eye are low life0
