Best insurers for Landlord Insurance

Hey everyone,

Currently with Axa for my properties but they don't fill me with confidence to be honest. Filled a form online and got an immediate call from CIA Insurance. They appear okay but when claiming can be a nightmare apparently

Looking for a good insurer, for a fair price who'll get stuff done on time and are fairly easy to deal with

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I used Direct Line but you need to be careful with their coverage. There is a clause in their policy wording that states that any tenant must be employed, retired or in receipt of disability benefits. Basically, it is there because they do want to cover benefit tenants.

My property is fully managed and the main risks (lost rent and eviction costs) are covered by their guarantees so, for me, the benefits of landlords insurance are somewhat limited.
