Urgent Advice needed - can you help?

Hi,
I'm new to this site, but hoping you can help me.
I am paid weekly into my bank account and have arranged deliberately for various standing orders to leave the account on the same day so that they are paid before I go shopping!
This has been in place for months without any problems, until last week, the bank took the money out for the standing orders at 6am just hours before my money went in to the account to cover them.
As a result of this they are charging me £90 (3 x £30 for each transaction).
They are saying that as they have waived charges for me in the past - they are not willing to do anything about it.
This cant be right can it? - don't see how they can take charges from me this week when the arrangement has been in place for months with no problems and enough money was in the account to cover this just after it was taken (and at the usual time it is taken if you see what I mean)
Can someone please give me some advice?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Gemma

Are you aware of any previous charges they claim have been waived?
If not, ask them why you have not been notified of these charges previously. For the current £90, I'm not sure where you got the times from, but on face value, to me, this is really bad form from the bank. The order in which they process transactions is not published and if money was pending to be paid in (and they would know), it's an easy money making scheme for the bank.
If you've had previous refunds, you will need to start the reclaim process, please see the Reclaim article in my signature and also read this for an update:

Hi Gemma,
The banks are a law unto themselves, but they do tend to debit payments first rather than credit first, this is how they've made this into cash cow for themselves, and all us poor saps are paying for it.
Your going to have to start a reclaim I'm afraid, my bank Shabbey, have stopped sending letters when you go overdrawn, and you only know about it when the monthly statement drops on the doormat.
Good luck
