Santander Select Debit Card

Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0

If I remember correctly Santander don’t issue black cards anymore for select accounts and everyone just gets the standard red one.
This isn't correct - they brought out a upgraded Select account that checks eligibility periodically. It has a black Visa debit card.
The people on the closed Select product (with a gold Visa debit card) will either be upgraded to the newer product or downgraded to a standard 123 with the standard red Visa debit card.
Once they migrate to debit Mastercard, the gold product will be retired with either a black or red debit card issued. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
My Select Card is black and branded Visa. It's a debit card.
I also have a Santander Zero Card, which is Mastercard.0 -

I got one of the last gold ones too. I was thinking of removing batteries from all the world's clocks so it never expires!0 -

That won’t stop the International Date Line
Maybe I could do something with the earth's magnetism to freeze it? Or use the flux capacitor embedded in the gold card to keep going back in time to visit a different Santander branch until they have me visiting their entire network at once asking very persistently for a replacement gold card as mine is about to expire. I doubt they have a plan for that situation.0 -
