Hi,
I am looking at buying a house in the next 8-12 months. My wife opened a LISA in April and we've been filling it up, i opened one in August to get the clock ticking and to fill up once the first one is full.
My question is if we were to buy a house in say June mine wouldn't have been open 12 months? I saw on the MSE webpage on them it says you can transfer them into another. does this mean I would be able to transfer my LISA into my wifes account which will have been open 12+ months?

No, the transfers they're referring to are between accounts held by the same individual - you can't transfer ISAs from one person to another, other than by withdrawing and paying in, which would obviously be self-defeating here even if there was enough spare allowance.Hardisty92 wrote: »My question is if we were to buy a house in say June mine wouldn't have been open 12 months?
