Wrong case opened and gone from purchase history?

Hi
So i ordered 2 games on 1 order and another game on a separate order and the seller dispatched all 3 together with the tracking info the same.
Now i get the parcel and only 2 games are in there 1 of the 2 from the same order was missing.
i contact seller so no reply so i opened a case but clicked return instead of item not arrived (i clicked 1/2 as i got 1 copy) so they show the estimated refund as 39.99 but the case has not shown up in my eBay resolution centre but if i try to open another case says theirs one active and i can view case details when i click where it says.
Looking back at my purchase history the order with 2 games has vanished? just wondering what the best solution is as never opened a wrong case.
also seller hasn't replied to case yet been open since Friday but only just realised i did a return.

What sort of return case have you opened? SNAD Or a change of mind return?
Also, the item purchased will now be in a different sub section on your purchase page, there are so many different versions of eBay it is impossible to say where, but there will be a tab somewhere that opens up all returns and open cases. That is a seperate bit from straight purchases.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Stupidly i clicked return item didn't go to the eBay resolution page like a moron as it was 3am and i wasn't thinking! It gives me the option to cancel the return request but if i do that i might not be able to open another request so is it best to leave it and ask eBay to step in when the time comes?
And thanks i found the item in another section of eBay0 -

If you have opened a simple return then all that will happen is that if you don't return it by the date ebay give the case will be closed in seller's favour.
Don't worry about doing something stupid though , I've just done something so monumentally stupid I can't even put it into words. Even the ebay CS rep is confused at the situation and has apparently made notes on my file as no one will believe how this situation can occur. All my own fault though, failed to fully read and understand a buyers message.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It says the seller has until the 6th to reply to the case (they haven't yet) and it says if they don`t they will step in does that mean they will create me a return label or refund me? only thing is i didn't get the item i stupidly marked to return :rotfl:
so if i close the return can i still open a INR? its all so confusing no wonder people make mistake i didn't even know how to find the item when it moved to the returns tab i thought it was in my purchase history still
Also when the seller replied they couldn't find they said they cant see the order in the history so they must be as confused as i am!0
