So if you rent out a property to a tenant and HMRC tells you to pay tax on the rent you just tell them to do one?

Everything is so unceright now anything could happen nex general election

But even if this never get in, the mere mention of it has made all landlords both foreign and domestic realise that they never really own their own home.

The government can force you to sell it to your tenant or raise taxes and charges at any time.

In the last 3 years we have sold over £3m of property, most of the equity is now either reinvested (in equities and corporate bonds) or sitting in cash waiting to be reinvested. It certainly feels like we really owned those properties.

I never realised that until recently, I saw a photo of a property on rightmove which had a pole in the lounge, it was my wife that pointed out to me that pole dancing was a recognised fitness activity.
