spoke to my ex and ive told him im goin to do a debt management scheme and hes said he'll pay half of monthly payments so hopefully that will sort me out, is anyone else on one of these schemes and are they a good idea?

If you go for a DMP make sure you go through one of the charitable agencies in my sig not one that advertise on TV.
Good luck with it but don't believe ex will keep up his end of the bargain. Budget for him not to then if he does it's a bonus
