  • Am not good at detailed advice, just wanted to say don't fret, just get a list of your outgoings and income so people can help.

If you post your SOA (statement of affairs), a list of income & outgoings with your debts & APR's then we can take a look & maybe help you sort everything out.

Go graba cup of tea, gather your bits of paper & we'll see you in a bit!

Good luck, & welcome to MSE

Hi there your outgoings total £744.19

but there is nothing on there for food, car tax, mot, birthdays, haircuts, prescriptions etc, so I am guessing that you are still getting in deeper into debt.

The thing that stands out is your income. Could you get a second job, ebay everything that isn't nailed down, do mystery shopping etc? Or could you get a better paid main job?

Is you ex not paying anything, or is he paying the loan amount? You need to chase him for this if he isn't.

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • hey ... yeh iam gettin more and more in trouble as u can see from expenditure that doesnt include capital one or simply be as i just dont have the money to pay them. im lookin into gettin a part time job to help out a little.. my ex does pay half of one loan but i got another loan to pay off credit card and im still waiting for him to help me with that... im not holding my breath...
    thank u for your reply.
  • has our ex oh signed anything? or are you going to have to nag him to start paying his share??

My ex 'borrowef' a lot of money off me when we were going ou £10k (hangs head in shame. And i can't get a penny out of him, so i've just had to write it off and pay it myself, it's worth it not to ever have to speak or see the worthless piece of **** again ;)

Have you got anything in writing or an email from the exs in question admitting to owing this money? If so I would imagine you could take them to a small claims court to try and get the money back.

No just get him to admit that he owes you money in writing and that should be enough proof for the court especially if you have bank records of the money going from your account to his on that the credit card/loan was paid into his account.

  • he admits to oweing it just doesnt wanna pay it... its my debt too id just like him to help... the thing that annoys me so much is that hes got off scot free really not a penny debt to his name!
