Xbox live not working

Hi there,

My brothers Xbox360 has been playing up recently. It was all fine, then one day he couldnt connect to xbox live. I did the self test for him and all the connectivity etc came up fine, but the 'xbox live' part came up failed with no reason or anything.

I got him to check the email address he registered his account with to make sure he hasnt received any emails from them for any reason, but he hasnt.

Any ideas what this could be? Anyone else had this?

Xbox live is down probs, happened to be all the time, hency why i got rid of my 360 and got a ps3

Xbox live is a pain to setup sometimes it works, sometimes it dont, then theirs the hole you need a xbox live router :P

Ring up Xbox and they will help you.

Never had any problems with it..expecially not recently...most routers seem to work ok with it..all 4 that I have do.

I know people have problems using bridged connections and gaming bridges

Had various routers attached in the past (currently a netgear) had the odd trouble now & again but only because xbox live was down.....usually they dont email a warning about service outage...although they have just started PM'ing users warning of service disruptions
