IKEA Failed Delivery

Good Morning,
I purchased some worktops from IKEA's website and paid for it to be delivered yesterday between 12pm and 6.30pm. I received messages which i'm guessing are automated saying that the delivery would take place between 12pm and 4pm. This did not happen so i rang their customer service agents at 4pm and they advised that i was the last drop on the route and they should be with me by 6.30pm. I waited until 6.15pm and rang their customer services again and the lady advised that they are on drop 14 of 17 and that they would call when they were an hour away. I did not receive any calls from them and they did not leave any voicemails.
I booked time off work to receive these items and tried to send them a delivery compensation letter using the template from MSE stating a breach of contract only to find they have no way to contact them via email. I copied and pasted the amended template and the customer service agent was not able to provide me with an email address to which i could send the email to. I expected for the delivery charge to be waivered as a gesture of good will but this did not happen either.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Did anyone manage to fight back against IKEA's poor customer service?

Have the items been delivered? I think the compensation only comes into it if you have to book an additional day off for a rearranged delivery.0

What time did they claim to arrive?
What time did you leave?
(Just trying to assess "reasonableness").0 -

Having spoken to their customer agent, she cannot view when they arrived as they'd already booked me on another delivery route for this thursday coming up. I checked the track and trace app and they hadn't arrived by 7.30pm. I left at 7pm.0 -
