Halifax Went over credit limit

Hi,
I am sure it is fine but would like the opinion of people more in the know.
Been buying lots of bits for our house extension and always like to pay with credit card and then pay that off.
Just gone over my Halifax limit of £7500 by £150. I paid 5k off literally within 30 mins of doing so.
Halifax confirmed that I won't be charged and my credit rating will be fine as I paid it off within 24 hours.
Is this all true?
Thanks

Well considering you don’t have a “credit rating” I would say it’s true.0

What called?
If you’re referring to the CRA generates scores and ratings, I would call them “fluffy unicorn poop”.
Lenders use their own systems internally to score and rate you, not the CRA derived figures of fairy-tale-ness.0 -
The bank has told you that you will be okay. You then come on here and a member has told you the same and you want to keep this going? Also for operating the account in the way you mention, I would have got one with points or rewards. Halifax is not know for this.
Second opinions are always worth while in my experience.
Keep what going ? I asked what the term should be called if credit rating isn't accurate.
"You them come on here". I know, the cheek of me posting on a public forum 0 -
Hi, sorry I deleted my post as you asking about a possible late payment mark on your report. I didn't read it properly in the 1st place. Sorry about that.0
