Phone recommendations

I wondered whether anyone could recommend a phone for a 13yo? My daughter is saving her pocket money, birthday money and doing chores to earn money for this purpose. Any recommended PAYG services would also be gratefully appreciated. At present she has saved £250.

Xiaomi Mi A2.

If she's going PAYG, O2 classic 3-2-1 PAYG is good value, but if she's going to use a significant amount of data she might be better off with a plan. Sky Mobile are doing something like 2G data and loads of calls and text for £6 per month.

O2 currently have the Samsung Galaxy A10 for £99 on PAYG, bought 2 on Sunday for wife and I. Deal may only be available until this Wednesday 4 sept though.

You should opt for Oppo phones. They are cheap with multiple features present in premium phones. It would be a great first phone. Thumb scanner, good camera, a widescreen, and a long battery life.

I would also look at reconditioned iphone from music magpie- I use them and its great value. Go for unlocked for the best network choice.

Apologies for not having replied. Thanks for all the info, we'll certainly take the suggestions under review. My daughter is keen to get an iphone though... Peer pressure as all her friends have one. Oh the delights of having a teenage daughter, lol.
