Hi guys
We are (hopefully) buying a new house, but as our savings our being swallowed by the 10% deposit we need to put our estate agents fees and legals on credit card (approx £2500).
Can anyone suggest the best card to have to do this? Does paying for fees just count as a regular purchase and qualify for the 0% intro offers? If possible, we'd like 0% for as long as possible.
Thanks guys!

Suggest you get a Capital 1 as 4% cash back is better than 0% interest free."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

A better option may be to use a super balance transfer card such as MBNA (and MBNA run brands such as Virgin, A&L, Sony, etc), or the Egg Card which will pay money into your current account at 0% (for 12-15 months). All will charge a fee of 2-3% of the amount transferred.
A word of warning...if you miss a payment, or contravene any of the T&C's, all the above will remove the 0% rate and put you on their typical rates of 15.9/16.9% APR.missile wrote:Suggest you get a Capital 1 as 4% cash back is better than 0% interest free.0 -
Hello OP.
I would go for the Virgin (MBNA) as they are 15months 0% and 3% transfer fee.
Really good card. Me and my wife have one both with the same deal.
My wife dont even work and her limit is more than mine.:oCurrent Debt £38,000:o
