"Trying to expand" is often a by-word for "highly leveraged with debt" and is also often a by-word for "low-margin" or "loss-making".
Acquisitive companies often fund their acquisitions with a mountain of debt to try and gain market share, making them riskier propositions than companies which are not acquisitive but are extremely profitable.
There is a very substantial risk your investment might go to zero here. Of course also there is a chance your investment could double. If you are comfortable with that risk, that's fine. Otherwise, go for a more diversified portfolio or choose an appropriate fund in an educated and well researched way.0
