Executors and Probate

Simple question that I can't find the answer to anywhere. If someone was to request a copy of the will and probate from the probate office would the executors be able to find out that this had been requested? The will in question is that of my ex father in law, with my ex husband being one of the executors.

No, they wouldn't be able to find out. They are in the public domain and can be bought by anybody.0

When I apply for probate on line do I have to submit the original will and copies separately by post or in person.0

The original Will needs to be submitted by post after applying for probate.0
