I got that e-mail a while back. Given that I haven't used it in either car in the last two years - I decided there was no sense in giving them another tenner to hang on to or making a trip to Thurrock Lakeside. So I cancelled online - and they refunded me. By cheque! They wrote to me and said they were sending a cheque, then wrote to me with the cheque, then wrote to me to tell me the account was closed. One e-mail and a credit to the card on the account would have done fine...I need to think of something new here...0

Just got notification that dartsave is closing down at the end of June so you will need to remember to pay online within 24 HoursEx forum ambassador

Like Browntoa, above, I too received the email just now to say thast Dartsave is closing on 30th June.I never had occasion to use it as I don't live locally and only registered on the off-chance I might need it - but it seems a shame. Surely not another victim of the virus? Maybe the reduced number of drivers using it during lockdown could have pushed it over the edge?0

Probably that they don't want something that makes it easier for people to forget to pay and avoid the penalty fines.0
