Another vote here for the TBS Cleanser. My only gripe with it is the packaging,

Gave away a bottle of ABC Tea Tree body spray to a friend last night as it was sitting unused in the bathroom and she,s suffering with a fungal infection on her toe at the moment.

Was gifted a mini spray bottle of Floral Street Neon Rose by a friend at work.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    One UU from last night:

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant sample WPB as a full size. This was lovely. I'm not generally a fan of physical skin exfoliation, but this was just what my skin needed. My skin feels lovely and smooth this morning :)

I've used this in the past and really liked it too, Dermalogica is overpriced imo though.

    Two UUs this evening:

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter 90ml WDBA and have done. My favourite Cleanser. Great to remove SPF and the day's grime. Love the scent as well.

Weleda Calendula Face Cream 50ml WPNBA. This was nice but I won't be buying it again. A bit too rich for my skin. But it has a gorgeous scent though.

I'd like to try the cleansing butter but am worried it will break me out, I've used the oil in the past but am trying to avoid the plastic bottles. Does anyone remember when Body Shop used to refill your bottles for you - they were way ahead of their time?

If I've worn SPF, I will usually double cleanse, first time to remove the SPF and then with a different cleanser to cleanse my skin. My skin just feels calm and refreshed if my SPF is removed properly. The SPF I wear does have a residue, I still love my daily SPF, so I can tell if it's still there or not.

The Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant was nice, and if I was gifted it I'd happily use it. I'd probably buy myself the mini one, but I get what you mean, their products are overpriced for what they are.

I know the Cleansing Butter can break some people out because of the Shea Butter in it.

I know The Body Shop are doing the Terracycle scheme, so if you return 5 of their empty products to them you get a Love Your Body Club reward for doing it. If I've remembered that correctly. There's more information here, if you follow this link Hopefully, they might return to that system where they refill your bottles. It would be nice. I have like no zero waste shops near me at all (the joys of living in the vast northern countryside). So I'm trying to reduce how many unnecessary products I have for the time being.

I think all cleanser removes SPF, I guess it might take more work to remove mineral sunblock or ones like Ultrasun, but I think any decent cleanser will remove normal SPF.

Yes I remember the refill thing, but way back in the 90s. There are no zero-waste shops near me either and I'm in Reading! My nearest is London which isn't exactly convenient!

I've got a feeling there's one in Thatcham. Or at least there was a pop up one not so long ago I think.

Is this one close to you? https://www.truefood.coop/

Camomile Butter comes in a metal box, way better than plastic by the way but I agree, still not zero waste. I usually break out with heavy products but this one didn't cause any issues.

Agree, normal cleanser would remove normal SPF but I just assume that's the case rather than being certain if it makes sense? Hence the question.

kadison - you might find a local health food store doing zero waste things, I have a couple near me but there is no way you would find that out online, I was in there and saw that they refilled Ecover, Faith in Nature, did dry ingredients package free and make their own skincare products which they sell in glass. You might have something similar near you.
