Letter before claim Gladstone

Hi need some help. Just received a letter before claim from Gladstone on behalf of UKCPM regarding a parking charge notice from April 2018.
I had borrowed my son's car to attend a PIP assessment at the Vista Center. I parked in a Disabled Bay and displayed my blue badge and had a valid ticket for parking. Most of the other bays had reserved on them but mine didn't.
I had ignored the letters from Trace but the fine is now £160. The letters have come to my address but my son no longer lives here. What should I do now. Should I reply to Gladstone? Any advice would be appreciated.

It is for your son to deal with it as he is named BUT, since it is a LBC, you have time to send/give it to him and tell him to read this forum, NEWBIE sticky, post # 2 and look at LBC and SAR. If he has any questions he should register on this forum and ask them. You can, of course, do it on his behalf but it has to be in his name. Another alternative is for him to name you as driver. What happened to the original PCN and NTK and reminder letters?0

Hi thanks for reply. As it was not my son's fault I said we would deal with it. I've kept all the letters but nothing was headed with NTK. We didn't think it would go this far!! I've still got the paid for ticket and photos showing blue badge in the disabled bay but no reserved markings. Do we write to Gladstone and say who the driver was?0

Also not sure how to go to Newbie sticky posts either.0

You must respond to a LBC and there is no need to complete any of the forms. I assume the claim gives you 30 days to respond ?
UKPCM are simpleton scammers who use another scammer, they being Gladstones to threaten court.
Hope you have proof you paid, if so, UKPCM stole your money
Gladstones are scamming you by adding a fake £60 which is abuse of process and against the courts own ruling about double recovery

So, from the very first letter you received, please give us:I've kept all the letters but nothing was headed with NTK.
Date of parking incident.
Date of Issue shown on the letter.
Does the letter say that UKCPM are pursuing the keeper under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Schedule 4)?
For what 'infringement' are UKCPM pursuing the keeper?I had borrowed my son's car to attend a PIP assessment at the Vista Center. I parked in a Disabled Bay and displayed my blue badge and had a valid ticket for parking. Most of the other bays had reserved on them but mine didn't.
Did you pay for a parking ticket?
Have you complained to the Vista Centre and ask them to intervene on behalf of a disabled motorist (copy of Blue Badge) who paid to park (copy of paid parking ticket) who is appalled that the VC is allowing UKCPM to harass a vulnerable individual who has protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010. If they are not prepared to assist, you will be taking advice on a claim against the VC under the Act.
Do you have your own photos of the signage on the site (distribution and sufficiently focused to read the small print in signs), as well as the disabled bay in question, and others around it. If not get some. Take as many as possible on your visit, you can sift them later to suit your case. Be careful where you park, you don't want another UKCPM ticket! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

It's just a basic question to ascertain whether UKCPM could hold the keeper liable, nothing more than we ask in any case where it's not already clear. There's nothing surreptitious in the question relating to 'Abuse of Process'.
There's a bigger issue vis a vis PoFA and the addition of extra charges. If there is an admitted driver then PoFA offers no protection, and as I read it, that includes no protection from added charges. That protection does of course extend to the keeper.
The rulings in Southampton suggest to me that they had far less to do with PoFA and more to do with claiming costs for expenditure (debt collection) not made. Or it could possibly be linked to the Beavis ruling on the basis that the £85 standard PCN charge already had a profit element inbuilt, therefore no basis for claiming additional admin charges. You might note that PE never pursue any 'extras' other than £25 filing fee and £50 solicitor costs, no dodgy add-ons.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Your input is very valuable and I would appreciate such thoughts on the Abuse thread so as to paint the picture to those suffering the scam from these uncouth legals
GLADSTONES, BWLEGAL, SCSLAW and the jokers QDR set up by the disgraced Wright Hassall
Not forgetting DCBL who are joining in the scam0 -
Thanks I will respond to Gladstone by letter but not complete forms. I do have proof I paid. Parking incident was 29/8/18. Date of issue of first letter was 2/10/18 and it states pursuing driver under PFA 2012 and recover from keeper anything remaining.
I did complain at the time to the VC but no joy as they said nothing to do with them.
I have photos showing bay - some reserved and some not - we were not in a reserved bay.
They maintain it was permit holders only. We even parked under a have you paid and displayed sign but it never stated this.0
