80/20 split car accident

Thinking Admiral is a big name and would deal with this matter promptly, I could not be so wrong!
My husband and I were, bizarrely, both involved in car accidents on the same day. In my case it was the other driver's fault, liability was accepted and everything was sorted in a couple of weeks. Husband's was contested and took 15 months for the two sides to agree a 50/50 liability despite independent witnesses stating that the other driver was 100% at fault - no injuries involved. I wouldn't hold my breath for a speedy resolution.0 -

Why ?
Because lots of people think riding bikes is inherently dangerous and the risks of dying or being critically injured outweigh the benefits to owning one.
I have a few friends who were not allowed to have a bike whilst living under their parents roof and i still have a few friends who want to get a bike but have been told absolutely not by their other halfAll your base are belong to us.0 -

Sounds like the biker was "filtering" and will get away with messing up the OP's daughters claim. 80/20 is a good result as it would of been 50/50 at best without dash cam - another reason that everyone should have one.0

That's not filtering, that's overtaking. But you're right - the dashcam is crucial in this case.bike having to enter the oncoming traffic lane to pass.I need to think of something new here...0 -

Yes I was being sarcastic....that was the defense a biker's insurance used on me when I was turning right at a crossroads when a bike came flying past a row of 20 cars and hit me - settled 50/50 on that one.0
