Motorhome Insurance from Hire Company

Hello,

I've hired a motorhome for 4days next year, first time

Bit confused about the Insurance that I have to complete. I have two options either
Pay to reduce my excess from 1000 to 0 for insurable incidents. and £250excess for non-insurable damages- listing the likes of wing mirrors etc. Costing £129 to arrange.

If I opt to not pay for the wiaver, have to pay 250excess for non-insurables and £1000 insurable+£15 to arrange it.

Is there something I should purchase myself to cover me? so that If I go for option 2 and dont lose £1250.

I've found that hiring a vehicle is super cheap (4 days-£120 ) but is this how they get you, insurance add-ons?

£30/day for motorhome hire? That sounds ridiculously cheap. Is it mid-week in February?

Martin has a page dedicated to this. Search for hire car excess, see if you can compare prices.
