Advice on PPI response

Options
Hello

I got a reply from my resolver complaint on PPI. I have no paperwork but took out a mortgage 14 years ago.

The standard reply said we cant trace any PPI attached to your mortgage so we cant confirm that you were sold a paymentcare policy.

What are my options here? I have no idea if it was added without my knowledge or any other scenario.

What are peoples advice?

thanks

    Forget about it.

Even if you did have it, odds are it was sold by someone else, you have no grounds (that you've mentioned) for saying it was missold, mortgage PPI claims rarely are successful, all the more so with no paperwork, and its too late to claim against who sold it to you even you knew who that was which you (seemingly) dont.

You provide them the evidence that you paid a paymentcare policy. It would have been a standalone plan with its own direct debit.

So, you had a monthly payment to the mortgage. You knew what that was?
You would also have had a monthly payment to the MPPI (if you had it). Did you not wonder what that was?
