    It depends what you need.
For minimal usage you may do better on PAYG.
If you need more data then a bigger deal would suit you better, but for £6 you are unlikely to beat the Sky deal. I think it's on O2, so the coverage will be good in most areas, but you should check that.

No, £4.50 for the same deal is better :)

I phoned up at the end of the 12 month term for my PAC as I'd put in my notice for Sky TV and at the time I took it out you had to have Sky TV. They immediately removed the link to the TV package and knocked £1.50 off it without me even asking. This is for 12 months and at the end of the 12 months I'll probably let it ride at £6 as it suits me and I now get good download speeds (there was some sort of issue with the O2 masts initially).

Both myself and my wife have this tarrif with Sky. We both pay £3 per month.

Try Sky's Facebook chat, and explain that your friend has just been offered 50% off for 12months, and you would like to sign up to the same offer.

We only have Sky Broadband and Telephone. No TV.

You may get offered the 1GB deal initially, but after the 1st month you can switch to any of their other tarrifs and retain the 50% discount.
