Parking Ticket & Marstons

About me
- Single mother of my only child who requires 24/7 care due to his condition.
- He is Peg fed, no motor skills, cannot walk or talk and is 10 years old.
- I have a specially adapted house with two hoists, wet room and devoid of dangerous corners and indoor soft floor.
- Have oxgyen station and a hospital bed in his bedroom
- have assistance of daily visiting carers and regular respite
- Can elaborate on his condition which is rare and life limiting
- Have specially adapted wheelchair
- Have a motability Van that has been specially internally adapted for his wheelchair and also a tail lift.

Circumstances
- Took my son to the seaside with my Nan (another council area) and parked in the local car park
- had two blue badges (from my local council) one for my son and my nan was with us and she brought hers. These were placed on the dashboard
- bought pay and display ticket
- received ticket on van stating they could not see a blue badge (even though two were visible)
- 2 weeks later son was admitted to hospital and had to be transferred to ICU for children at a specialist hospital as our local does not have a childrens ICU
- Was there for 3 months and stayed in Ronald McDonald charity House as the hospital is over 100 miles from home
- Son brought out of induced coma and eventually discharged after a couple of weeks in childrens ward

- Parking ticket council had escalated the parking ticket due to no response (was at hospital away from home for nearly 4 months) so didnt get sight of their letters. All other regular bills paid by DD
- Opened mail when home and called the council but they had referred to a company called Marstons and that I must now deal with them. Fine gone to £140 and then to £185.
- Agent came round and said he could see I had nothing of value (but added i think £325 compliance fee as well). and would refer it back to the office. (this was about 3 months ago and no contact since)

My Issue
- Two days ago a agent came round and clamped my motability vehicle, I explained ownership and went to get documents he followed me into the house. He said he didnt care and he hears these stories all the time. He said I had to pay it today. I stated I couldn't. My son started having cluster seizures and I said I need to deal with him. He said to me to stop making excuses he looks fine. He stated that he would be back to ransack my house today, yes RANSACK. He scared the hell out of me talking over me , I felt scared in my own house and worried for my son as I needed to give him medication. He left and said he would be back today to ransack (Yes again) my house today and will be taking the Van, he doesnt care who owns it. He also wouldnt accept a payment plan.

- I broke down in tears, shaking and grabbed all my sons medication and when I composed myself drove to my parents a iot of a distance away and I have been here since too scared to go back because of what he said.

- My brother rightly or wrongly advised me to call him today and record the phone call which I did. I told him I would like another agent to deal with this as he has scared me saying he would ransack my house, I dont feel safe in my own home. He didnt even dispute he said he would ransack it. He didnt even say anything like, I am sorry you felt that way I didnt realise or anything like that. All he said was "No you will be paying but luckily for you I am not in your area today and I will be back. I manage your case and I will be dealing with it until its paid.


I contacted Marstons today and told them I would like to raise a complaint and repeated his ransacking statement. The lady said he is entitled to enter your house, I reiterated is it acceptale to say you will be coming back to ransack the house, she repeated he is entitled to enter and remove goods. I asked her if I can change agents due to the fear and experience and she said no also. She stated it had been to court but couldnt give me a time or date. My brother spoke (as phone was on loudspeaker) and she said she will not be discussing the with him even though I gave permissions and would now be ending the call unless she was taken off of loudspeaker. Phone went dead.

I called the council to lodge a formal complaint as this is their relationship with this Marston company and I only have a relationship with the council. They stated the PCN went to court to register the debt what ever that means. She said she could not take my complaint at the council and I would need to do that with marstons, but the above happened as I mentioned.

I wasnt able to deal with this as my son was in ICU which I can prove buy consultant and dishcharge papers. I am too scared to go back to my house and wont which is not fair on my son or parents and have had to cancel the carers for the moment. He surely cannot be agressive and use words like that? I am in tears typing this and really dont know what to do or where to go.

Any help you kind people can give would help.

    As this is council , you should join pepipoo fightback forum and post there, but do not use a Hotmail email address

    But if this is about bailiffs, I suggest you contact Sheila at bailiffadviceonline about it , name on here is herbie21

    Point her at this thread , so she can read it and gather all the information you have already posted
