I am looking at getting car insurance - I currently have a part time job. Can this job be used to class me as ‘employed’ on my insurance policy?

I am currently unemployed and seeking work. However, I am not currently collecting Jobseekers Allowance. Does this mean I am technically classed as a ‘house person’ for car insurance? Whenever I do get interviews, I am given a lift.
Last night at 6:22 you were unemployed, by your own admission.

Well in regard to full time employment, I am unemployed. I have been doing car insurance comparison on different websites and some mention about secondary employment and part time employment, but Compare The Market only gives options regarding employed, student, unemployed, house person etc., nothing about part time employment.0

Are you trying to differentiate between full-time and part-time employment, or are you really talking about being employed vs being self-employed?0
