Elite Management (Midlands)Ltd Parking fine

Hi, ive read previous threads advising not to pay, as Elite were /are suspended from BPA.
But this was advised in June, does anyone know if this ban is still in place?

I had previous county court letters when i ignored a parking eye ticket a couple of years ago, so dont want to be in same predicament again lol

Many thanks for any advise

Are they showing as a current BPA or IPC member when you Google the two AOS lists?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Not showing on either, not to be confused with Elite Car Parking Management Ltd - a BPA operator.

EM (Midlands) Ltd still appear to be under suspension, obviously after having done something seriously wrong, a phenomenon not unknown to their big cheese.

Obviously sees penalising defenceless old ladies and vulnerable pensioners £100 a pop to pay off his own £90,000 court penalty as 'the right way of doing things'!

And the DVLA are still happy to provide our personal data to convicted crims!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

This is not a fine, this is an invoice from a private company for damages to compensate them for the harm they allege you caused them, pay them not a penny unless s judge so orders it.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

I see "The Big Cheese" did four years came out in 2016 straight back to running the parking company, just as you would expect in this awful industry.
  • AFAIK this mob cannot access the DVLA so the only way they can get your details is if you contact them.

    So ignore for now
