I've told them twice now that I don't want PIP but then they keep sending the money into my account, I don't need the help right now, but the situation might change in the next 2/3 months. And it takes so long on the phone to get through to them. I've got extra money, they keep sending, and saying it's for backdated payments, and then they're saying there was a mistake made on my original review suspension, saying I should have gotten more than 2 points after my review, but there has been a mix-up. My father is a renowned physician, he wrote to them when they suspended it. The person on the first refused and tried to argue with my dad after he realised, he just said he was confident my MR will be successful which it has been, but they've given me MORE money then what I am entitled too, they've increased it, they stopped it when I needed it, and now they're not taking the money back, which they've paid extra.

Your post is rather confusing. First you say you needed it and disagreed with a decision so you requested the MR and now you're saying you no longer need it but may need it in 2/3 months because things may change.
You can't just cancel your PIP. You need to report a change in circumstances and then they will most likely re-assess you again.
Why do you think you don't need it at the moment and what makes you think you may need it in another 2-3 months?
For PIP you don't need help/support ALL of the time, as long as you need this for at least 50% of the time over a 12 month period then that's fine.
Maybe you scored more points than you thought you would because you don't understand the descriptors and what they mean, which does happen.0 -

Sorry, it's because they've confused me, as I don't have a clue how it all works, and why ATOS call me and the government (DWP) make decisions? So, in 2013 my father came back from Pakistan (he has a pharma business in Pakistan and China, and was in Israel setting up a regional office) to help me out, they gave me pip for all that time until last year (I don't know the exact dates so months might be mixed up) since then they said I was entitled to X amount.
When I went for reassessment (which I told was pointless at the time as I was still needing help) after my re-assessment, she took all my points for everything and left me with two points. This was the lady at the DWP she said she wanted to change the descriptors. My father was super angry about this and said something about writing a letter to DWP and the lady who made the decision. After, this they said it was a mistake, going all the way back to 2013 and I should have been giving the maximum help.
With my disability, I can tell when the pain starts to increase, and some other issues, I can tell that within a few months my condition can change so quicky, and even sometimes have to get taken into hospital. You can't just cancel your PIP. I see, but I don't want to be going for the stupid ATOS interview, it causes my condition to get worse, as I am not supposed to be stressing, and going to ATOS makes you stressed out. By the way, the specialist I was assigned to the hospital turned out to be my neighbour, we studied together. For PIP you don't need help/support ALL of the time, as long as you need this for at least 50% of the time over a 12 month period then that's fine.
Oh, 50% I thought if I am feeling ok for a few months, I wasn't entitled to it. About 8 to 9 months I actually need it, but also then it can go for 7 months when I don't need it.Maybe you scored more points than you thought you would because you don't understand the descriptors and what they mean, which does happen.
My dad said something about that they've increased my points and said I was entitled to extra payment (special) which I hadn't been getting for over the years that I was getting my PIP up until the reassessment. They've only started being taking into account what we say now, before they kind of maybe thought I was lying, I was definitely made to feel like a criminal or something. And it's embarrassing, since for many, many years before my illness I provided a lot of jobs for people. It's humiliating when they ask you the questions, it always appears as if the whole thing is adversarial.0 -
If you think you are receiving money you're not entitled to then keep it on one side while you sort it out with them.0
